Kelly Clarkson Denies Being Gay On The View, When Asked About Marriage

Kelly Clarkson went on The View and made sure to drop about half-a-dozen references to dudes on whom she has a crush. Since, you know, it’s important people know she’s strictly… well, you know.

She was asked about her life on tour, and whether it’s hard to date since that’s a requirement somehow. Clarkson talked freely and then, unprompted, admitted people in her hometown assume she’s gay because she’s not dating enough nor married nor sujugated enough, clearly, for their liking.

Uhuh.

Admitting she’s made to feel like an “old maid” she told The View: “I’m from a small town, so everyone’s married with children or about to have children. It’s a little hard when you go home and people are like… and that’s why people think I’m gay.. because they’re like, ‘Why aren’t you married?’ And I’m like, ‘It doesn’t happen for everyone right off the bat!’”
