Kelsey Grammer Golden Globes Announcement: Wife Pregnant With Twins
Kelsey Grammer, 56, won Best Actor In A Television Drama for Boss, at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards last night.
The actor made an announcement backstage: he and his wife, former flight attendant Kayte Walsh, 32, are expecting twins. This pregnancy follows a miscarriage only months into their relationship.
Walsh and Grammer met through her job, right after his divorce from Camille Grammer of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. In October 2010, the actor admitted that he appeared on RHOBH as a parting shot: “I think [Camille] married me because I was Frazier. Whether or not it worked well for her doesn’t matter. It was my way of saying, ‘Look, you always wanted to be famous. Here you go.’”
The actor, who’s been married four times, already has four kids by three different women following a storied relationship history.
Walsh walked the red carpet, with her famous husband, in an orange gown that clashed with her hair and washed her out a little. But she looked happy, and glowy, and she had the tiniest bump. She’s probably barely out of her first trimester. She’s still very small all over, with only a hint of a glow.
Grammer said of Walsh: “I’m really looking forward to meeting these new arrivals in our lives, I really am… [Kayte is] extraordinary. She’s one of the most loving, amazing, warm human beings I’ve ever met. She’s funny and serious all at the same time. She’s an amazing person and I think she’ll blow [the kids] away.”
