Kendall Jenner Tells Cosmopolitan: “Sometimes I Just Want To Be A Normal Kid”
April 4, 2013 by Hollywoodite
Kendall Jenner is the 17-year-old model half-sister of Kim Kardashian whose career is also managed by their mother, Kris Jenner.
Previously, she has been in the headlines for leaving regular school in favour of homeschooling and foregoing college altogether because modelling and fashion design and acting were more important. She already told Glamour Magazine she doesn’t remember what it’s like to not be famous. Which was quickly followed by a tabloid report that her momager was tightening her grip because the older girls had become tired of being so controlled.
And now the teenager basically says it’s true because she wishes she could turn fame off, the fame she admittedly doesn’t know how to live without, so she can be a normal kid again.
Kendall is featured inside the May 2013 issue of Cosmo covered by Rachel Bilson.
Asked about her career, she says “Modeling is my number one priority – one hundred percent.” Adding of the rumoured spin-off, ’That’s not happening.”
She says of her own fame: “‘The show [Keeping up With the Kardashians] brought us everything we have, and I realize that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes. That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you.”
