Real Housewives of Atlanta: Is Kenya Moore In A Fake Relationship With Walter Jackson?

December 12, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Former Miss USA 1993 Kenya Moore joined the Real Housewives of Atlanta this season and immediately stepped on toes and insulted enough people to where she’s making so few friends she’s shown inviting herself to a girls’ vacation that had explicitly excluded her.

In order to fit in better with the cast who, for obvious reasons pertaining to the show, are married, engaged, or in serious relationships and/ or have kids, Moore is/ was purportedly in a relationship with a man named Walter Jackson with whom there’s a lot of marriage and baby talk. Except no one informed Jackson of Moore’s intentions to marry nor have kids with him, which has already aired. Moreover, Jackson is out of the loop in general because he claims he’s just doing Moore a solid by pretending to be her boyfriend. Which has been their “secret,” even kept from producers.

Justifying her flirting with other men, including the husband of a cast mate, Moore has been telling people Jackson got “cold feet” on the (contrived) marriage/ kid talk because he’s closeted gay. However, Jackson gave an extensive interview with WVEE’s Frank and Wanda Morning Show alleging that their love life was on-screen only. They dated for real three years ago, but only reunited for the show.

“I’m going to be doing this show,” Moore allegedly told him. “What if you play my boyfriend on the show?”

“It was our secret,” Jackson said of being a fake boyfriend. “It’s just like acting.” Although, he denied the gay rumours: “I’m well established here. Gay has never been in the block. Why she would say that, I don’t know.” Here’s the complete interview (in two parts).

Moore denies everything… with some very strange phrasing.

On Wednesday, Walter gave a revealing radio interview to WVEE, saying that the former Miss U.S.A. asked him to portray her boyfriend on the show. Walter claimed they had dated briefly three years ago, but Kenya contacted him before filming started so she could have a story line.

Kenya denies those claims and released the following statement to TooFab.com in an online exclusive:

“The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me. Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life. He says he ‘did it for fame.’ I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear… I can do better than Walter, and I will.” – via TooFab.
