RHOA’s Kenya Moore Speaks To Wendy Williams Following Eviction Drama

No matter how fabulous she claims to be, not even Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore can flout the law. Earlier this month, news surfaced that Moore was being evicted from her Georgia home for failure to pay rent on her rented mansion for the month of May.

Only $848 dollars short of her $3,999 monthly rent, the former Miss America title holder couldn’t twirl her way out of this fiasco soon enough. Following the court date, the judge sided with the owner of Moore’s rented home and kicked Moore to the curb.

Luckily for Moore, she has an eloquent mouthpiece and called into the Wendy Williams talk show on June 20 to share her side of the story. She says she “never got a notice of our court date so the ruling will be overturned” and there will be another court date.

Moore goes on to say not only did she pay her rent for both May AND June but nearly “$52,000 in rent and a security deposit of $6,000″ and she isn’t fretting because her “lease is up in three weeks.”

Known for adding a little controversy, Williams said she heard the landlord would come into Moore’s rented home unannounced and inquired why didn’t she get the locks changed and more importantly asked if it was true.

“When I didn’t move out when she wanted me to – she has to give me 60 days notice, I have no problem, I don’t want to anywhere I’m not wanted I can find another house, done,” Moore said. “And it’s just like everyday she was coming in and out of the house. So it has gotten really crazy. I almost had to get a restraining order against her that’s how scared I was as to where we had to put up cameras.”

Before the exclusive phone interview was over, Moore added her signature line, “don’t come for me unless I send for you,” in reference to her landlords shenanigans. Something tells us that, although it may look like the battle is over, Ms. Kenya Moore is just getting things started.
