Kevin Jonas’ Wife Expecting First Child
He has a boy band, he has a reality show, and now he’s going to have his very first child! Kevin Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers, and his wife, Dani, just announced they are expecting their first child together.
Married since 2009, the couple has been trying hard to get pregnant, as Dani suffers from severe anxiety and has been public about her desire to start a family. The singer, 25, revealed the news to Giuliana Rancic in a video message expressing his happiness of the news. In the video, Kevin says “it’s been the most exciting thing in my life so far” to hear about his wife’s pregnancy. The couple met in 2007 vacationing with their families in the Bahamas.
Their reality show on E!, Married to Jonas, in which they star, exposed the struggles Dani had with wanting to get pregnant. She was concerned that the timing wouldn’t be right, while Kevin was eager to start a family from the beginning. Looks like the timing is finally right and both are thrilled to begin their new family.
Also excited are Kevin’s brothers, and fellow Jonas Brothers’ band members, Joe and Nick. Joe and Nick both tweeted at their brother and sister-in-law their congratulations and excitement to be uncles. Nick tweeted, “Can’t wait to welcome the newest addition of the Jonas family. Congratulations to my bro @kevinjonas & @daniellejonas.” The couple even got a shout out from Ryan Seacrest.
Kevin currently has his hands full recording the Jonas Brothers’ fifth album, which is set to appear on his reality television show. It’s no question that Kevin’s transition into daddy duty will be accompanied by his entire family. Congratulations Kevin and Dani!
