Khloe Kardashian To Jay Leno: Kris Humphries Rubbed Me The Wrong Way
Repeating an anecdote from her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Khloe Kardashian visited The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to promote the next episode of her spin-off (which has, thus far, been uneventful except for fake relationship drama with randoms and a fake sex scene).
Throwing Kris Humphries under the bus a fourth time, if you count the public pining for her sister to get back with Reggie Bush, Kardashian explained to Jay Leno what caused the rift: Humphries was rude within minutes of meeting her. That’s basically the beginning, middle, and end of the story. And there was no going back.
“When I met Kris the very first time, I had just landed in New York and it was late at night and he was in Kourtney and Kim’s suite,” said Kardashian, 27. ”And I went in there to say, ‘Hi’ because Kim was like, ‘Oh, I wanna introduce you to my friend,’ They’d just started dating.”
She continued: “And you know, one of the first things that came out of his mouth… like within the first five minutes… was, ‘So, how much you getting paid to fake your marriage? Like how long are you gonna keep this up for?’ I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t know if you’re trying to make me laugh,’ [He] just rubbed me the wrong way. So, ever since then, I had a very defensive wall brought up. I’m gonna be a good sister… but I can’t lie and say this is perfect if I feel in my heart I just didn’t agree with it.”
