Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom’s Spin-Off Will End After Season Two

Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom’s spin-off Khloe & Lamar will reportedly end after two seasons, despite rumours they already negotiated a deal for subsequent seasons tangential to the $40 million deal negotiated for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

It was reported at the end of last week the 27-year-old, her older sisters, and her mother and stepfather, would take the biggest share of that $40 million. Her brother and younger sisters would take the remainder. Odom had his own deal, including the spin-off and KUWTK cameos. And Kourtney Kardashian’s toddler son and unborn daughter had their own deals (yes, really, according to TMZ Live).

Details were still being hammered out, so today’s announcement is a very recent development.

There were conflicting reports, about how Odom wanted a break from basketball to focus on reality television for a while. While others claimed, rightly, he’d grown distracted by filming and he’d quit to focus on his game.

It doesn’t feel like a negative thing. His career has obviously suffered for a few reasons. And he’s no longer at the top of his game. And it all started to unravel when he divided his attentions to placate his pimp momager-in-law. But he’s learned from his mistakes. The show’s going to be pulled, according to TMZ.com, who report the couple will continue to make cameos on KUWTK as they move back to Los Angeles and Odom resumes training there.

** UPDATE: A rep makes it clear the couple would never walk away from all that money: “It has NOT been cancelled. It’s just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar’s basketball schedule is a priority.”
