This is another baffling choice in a week where the lede was handed to them on a gilded gold platter.

In Touch Weekly has put this protracted story about Lamar Odom’s supposed mistress back on its cover. In short, after writing covers about their “breakup” for over a year, In Touch and others are going ahead and writing about Odom and Khloe Kardashian as an estranged couple now.

The cover says “Khloe: My life without Lamar. After her marriage is rocked by a cheating scandal, Khloe struggles to move on… and finally put herself first. PLUS: Khloe confronts the other woman.”

The last few months have been tough for Khloé Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom.

After an explosive fight, Lamar left their home and spent weeks living separately — yet in the same city — as he stayed at his loft in downtown LA. Then came devastating reports that he allegedly cheated on her in a yearlong affair with a woman he met at a strip club in early 2012.

“Khloé feels extremely alone right now,” says a source close to the reality star. “However, she’s determined to get through this.”
