Khloe Kardashian sources deny romance with Matt Kemp

This weekend, immediately following the divorce filing, it was rumoured that Keeping up with the Kardashians reality star Khloe Kardashian was dating baseball player Matt Kemp.

However, days later, sources deny it’s getting romantic… yet.

“They are just friends and have been for a long time,” a source tells PEOPLE magazine. “Khloé is absolutely heartbroken right now [over Lamar] and dating someone is the last thing she’s thinking about.”

“It could be heading [that way] in the future,” adds the source, “but Khloé wasn’t spending time with him when she was still with Lamar. She absolutely wasn’t,’ they insist. ‘People need to remember that she and Lamar haven’t lived together since June.”

An E! source adds, ”She’s hurt. She is in absolutely no frame of mind for dating right now.”

Another E! source adds of how Lamar Odom is handling the breakup, ”He knew it was coming and it was only a matter of time. He felt like he gave his all to try and save the marriage, but ultimately he wasn’t able to. There will always be a place in his heart for Khloé. He will always love her and her family. She has decided and there is nothing more he can do. He has to accept that.”
