Khloe & Lamar “On Hold” Not Cancelled, Khloe Kardashian May Do Another Spin-Off
As of today, TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com are still reporting that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s reality spin-off Khloe & Lamar has been “pulled” and will not do a third season. Despite everyone else reporting that that’s debunked nonsense, because pimp momager would never allow her clients to completely walk away from the money and endorsements.
TMZ is ignoring the rebuttals altogether, while RadarOnline is reporting: “The idea to pull the plug on the show was all Lamar’s. He felt that it was becoming a distraction and Khloé fully supported her husband. Lamar just isn’t in a good place right now, he is dealing with his ailing father and trying to get back into shape so he can sign with an NBA team. Kris doesn’t think it was necessary for them to not do another season of the show though and told them that Ryan Seacrest’s production team would work with Khloé and Lamar to film less. Kris told Khloé that viewers could be inspired by what they are going through right now because the unemployment rate is so high. However, Khloé isn’t budging and told her mom there will be no show, period… Lamar felt that being on the show hurt his prospects of being signed with another NBA team because he was so unhappy on recent episodes of the show when he was traded to Dallas.”
Rather than “pulling the plug,” the show is merely postponed. Their reps issued a statement: “It has NOT been cancelled. It’s just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar’s basketball schedule is a priority.”
And Kardashian told Entertainment Tonight: “Our show is not cancelled. Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We’ve been on a whirlwind doing back-to-back shows, and we just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics; you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now.”
In other news, it is also claimed that Kardashian is in talks, without Odom, since E! is desperate to keep her on side. There’s nothing finalised, but the 27-year-old could do another Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami type show in the interim. An E! source tells TMZ: “Khloe is a huge draw… We’re definitely in the Khloe Kardashian business.” About which her sister may not approve, with Kim Kardashian tweeting: “It’s so frustrating watching someone close to you make all the wrong choices & decisions… But I guess u need to sit back & let them learn.”
