Kim Kardashian Tape Mentioned During 10 Most Fascinating People Interview

The Kardashians made it onto Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People list; the top five of which includes Katy Perry, the number one going posthumously to Steve Jobs. Yes, a list topped by one of the world’s foremost innovators also includes the Kardashians because of Kim Kardashian’s tape.

The tape is the reason she’s as famous as she is. Admittedly, the reality show had already been signed at the time of the tape’s release. However, the 31-year-old’s image and brand were built on her sleeping with althetes and getting naked (both of which she did a lot). That appeared to be how she measured her worth, since she had nothing more to offer.

Walters appears to make a similar set of assumptions during her interview with Kim Kardashian and sisters Khloe and Kourtney. Their pimp momager throws in a few lies here and there, but mostly stays quiet.

Walters tells the family: “You don’t really act; you don’t sing; you don’t dance. You don’t have any, forgive me, any talent.”

31-year-old Kardashian is later asked to validate fame based on sex. To which she responds: “I have made mistakes in my life, for sure. You learned a lot from that.”
