In Touch Weekly: The Kardashian Sisters “Ditching Their Monster Mom”
May 9, 2012 by Hollywoodite
This week’s In Touch Weekly Magazine has a rather random-seeming report about the Kardashian sisters and their mother.
This is a run-of-the-mill story about the in-fighting, that’s probably just contrived PR drama before the new season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The cover reads: “The Sisters Have Had Enough: Ditching Their Monster Mom. Kim: Cuts her manager mom out of millions for ruining her marriage; Khloe: Convinced her mom destroyed her marriage to Lamar; Kourtney: Fed up with the constant criticism of how she’s raising Mason.”
A source claims: “Kris notices her daughter are pulling away and she’s freaking out. It’s sad because the girls are her life.”
The source continues, Kim Kardashian is leaving her mother out of negotiations renewing the contract with Tao in Las Vegas to be its main spokesperson: “She’s selling herself to the highest bidder, with a starting price of $150,000 per appearance. She stands to make a million dollars, but she’s cutting Kris out, even though Kris negotiated her first contract with Tao. It’s interesting.”
Incidentally, no, that’s not the exclusive first photo of Maxwell Drew Johnson inset on the cover. It’s taken from a random event where Jessica Simpson took photos with other people’s kids. OK! Magazine literally did the same though, passing those photos off as the first images of the baby (they’re only illustrative, but it’s also misdirection).
