Kim Kardashian Doesn’t Want Divorce Proceedings To Be On Camera

February 8, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Conversely to Kris Humphries’ desire to invite cameras in to televise his divorce, in order to expose the inherent fraud of reality television, Kim Kardashian does not want cameras to film the legal proceedings.

Humphries’ team leaked to TMZ.com that he’d seek to repair the damage done to his reputation by exposing how fake is the Kardashian’s and every other reality show. It’s moot, since we all know. But it would be amusing to watch the split happening live along with some more detailed first-hand accounts of how the show is produced.

But today, Kardashian’s team leaked its own story: the 31-year-old fame-whore is suddenly shy and she wants no cameras. Really, she’d  love the free-publicity but were Humphries to succeed in proving her fakery she’d come off worse in a televised scenario over which she and her mother couldn’t exercise editorial control or demand edits and re-shoots to make her look better. It’s a no-win for her, PR-wise. Otherwise, she’d jump at the chance.

Kim Kardashian has instructed her high powered divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, to formally petition that her divorce from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries, be heard by a private mediator and doesn’t want it to play out in public or on camera.

“A public trial is the last thing that Kim wants, and she has instructed her lawyer to formally petition the court so that the divorce can be heard by a mediator, which is routinely done in California, since it’s a no-fault state,” a source [says].

“Kim doesn’t want a long drawn out trial. She wants the mediation to be private, confidential, and legally binding. She and Kris have no assets together and kept separate bank accounts.” – via RadarOnline.
