Kim’s Fairytale Divorce: A Kardashian Event On SNL – Video

Kim Kardashian’s ridiculous divorce was made fun of on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Since she’s stopped filming for her reality show(s), replacing that attention with reconciliation theater, SNL have had to fulfil the public’s need for mocking and closure.

The SNL cast did a great job. They’ve been mocking the vapidity and tedious cadance of the Kardashian sisters for years. In an old interview, Kourtney Kardashian wrote the parodies off as lazy and inaccurate; the idea someone would have of her family if they’d never watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She was ambivalent, but bemoaned the inaccurate height differences and the laziness of the subjects skewered. Kim Kardashian was a little more light-hearted about it.

The 30-year-old’s sham wedding, for which she was paid $17-19 million to marry a random baller on a whim/ at the behest of E!, made a profit about which she lied. The wedding cost about $10 million about which she also got her mother to lie, insisting that earning that much gross profit isn’t real profit if you decide to spend it all right away (it must be interesting doing their taxes, if that’s how they define and declare profit).

SNL make fun of the tackiness of the wedding, the pushiness of pimp momager, and the slowness of Kris Humphries.
