Kim Kardashian and An Absent Kris Humphries Reach Divorce Settlement

Get out the scrapbook, Kim, for April 19, 2013 will forever be a day to remember. After 72 days of marriage and 536 days of battling a nasty divorce, Kim Kardashian and estranged hubby Kris Humphries have REACHED A SETTLEMENT in their divorce.
Although the Brooklyn Nets forward was not present in the Los Angeles courtroom this morning, a very pregnant Kardashian was seen arriving and leaving in a short black dress. And in a shocking twist, the divorce was officially dissolved a few hours later.
Up until recently, Humphries had been set on getting his marriage to the Kardashian sister annulled because he felt their marriage was fraud. Within the last couple of days, there were reports of Kardashian not wanting to go on the couple’s honeymoon and hiring photographers from the press to capture their honeymoon.
A source told RadarOnline, “Kim was distant from Kris and when the duo weren’t posing for pictures, she was cold as ice,” and that Humphries “felt like an accessory in her life.”
From the very beginning of all of this, Kardashian and her lawyer, Laura Wasser, were adamant that there was no fraud and Kardashian went into the marriage with the sincerest of hearts. Humphries put up a good fight, but ultimately began to realize that he was losing the case of fraud and to avoid paying an excessive amount of lawyer fees (both his and his ex-wife’s) he folded. The judge was going to fine Humphries for not showing up in court last week but Kardashian asked the judge to drop it and he did – see, she does have a heart. Kardashian will Humpries will pay their own lawyer fees and The Hump will get none of the 7 million he originally demanded from the reality star.
With her baby due in July, Kardashian had feared and stressed that she might still be married to Humphries when she gave birth. There has been no comment from either of them but, the reality star and her KimYe fetus are probably both breathing a sigh of relief.
