Kim Kardashian’s “Dramatic Delivery” Covers Us Weekly… Sound Familiar?

Long story short: every tabloid wrote its boilerplate ahead of time and, since Kim Kardashian began having contractions on Friday and many magazines don’t lock down their copy until Monday, there was plenty of time to cobble together this filler.

People Magazine already released its new cover on which it borrows a headline from last week’s Life & Style.

And if this cover of Us Weekly Magazine also looks familiar it’s because Us Weekly borrowed its wording from another lesser tabloid, In Touch Weekly, who wrote about Jessica Simpson’s “dramatic delivery” last year (incidentally, that cover came out one month before Simpson even gave birth).

The new Us Weekly cover says “My First Days as a Mom. Kim welcomes her baby girl five weeks early after a long, scary night—and Kanye finally steps up. Inside Kim’s dramatic delivery.” Incidentally, very old photo used on the cover.

Us Weekly has a mutually-beneficial relationship with the Kardashians, so this is pro-Kardashian, but the line about Kanye West is not flattering at all; more like a backhanded compliment.

One more thing… if the “First Days as a Mom” thing looks familiar, it’s because Life & Style has the same headline this week, below (no, Kate Middleton has NOT given birth yet), and Us previously used a similar headline for Simpson also.
