Kim Kardashian To File For Divorce From Kris Humphries Today!?
This is a report from TMZ.com who claim to know Kim Kardashian is moments away from filing for divorce from Kris Humphries. Turns out, the reports of her hiring a divorce lawyer, before looking over her prenup a second time, were TRUE.
Here’s the thing, Kardashian and her second husband, a runner-up in E!’s dating game, got married in a shill ceremony that served no purpose but to make her money. Not them, her. They went on a honeymoon and invited television and paparazzi cameras. She then put filming Kourtney & Kim Take New York over taking a proper, longer honeymoon. And since then, they’ve reportedly been living separate lives. Last week, her family halfheartedly came to Humphries’ defense, saying he’s big, dumb, and in the way… but he’s tolerable.
Page Six reports that at the Midori party at Lavo where Kardashian dressed as Poison Ivy, Humpries “was supposed to there but flew home to see his family in Minnesota instead.” That weekend, Kardashian also went to Vikram Chatwal’s 40th birthday (the married John who got Lindsay Lohan into an NYFW party for a kiss). Humpries was also MIA for that red carpet. And, the couple was at dinner last week looking frosty.
And now TMZ and People.com confirm they’re splitting after just 72 days. There’ll be divorce papers filed this morning.

It’s a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites ‘irreconcilable differences.’ The date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011. Kim has hired Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife. The couple has a prenuptial agreement. Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce just 72 days after tying the knot with Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony that was taped for her reality show. ”She wanted the fairy tale and she got caught up in it all,” says a source close to Kardashian. “She felt like the pressure of the TV show just isn’t what they could have handled.”

The filing comes after weeks of speculation of trouble in their brief marriage.
Kardashian told People living in New York City with her sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott Disick and their baby was “not ideal” for the newlyweds.
For Halloween, Kardashian, dressed as Poison Ivy, hosted a party solo, telling People that her husband was not around because she was headed to Australia this week [her original flight was cancelled]. ”Something I really prepared Kris for [was] to let him know that no matter what we do, there’s going to be rumors,” she told People. “It used to really upset me and now I don’t even think about it.” – via People.
