Kim Kardashian (Finally) Breaks Silence on Baby North

Happy new mother and media junkie Kim Kardashian has finally broken her silence about her new daughter, North. She posted on her website Wednesday a short note to all her fans. The post, which was simply titled Thank You, totaled just over 80 words.
“These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life,” Kardashian wrote.
She goes on to explain that she has taken this time to “fully embrace motherhood.” She has been spending time with her family and, it seems, taking things slowly.
Kardashian then says that she has been reading all of her fans messages. “I want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am truly blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment.”
She never once mentions North by name or even acknowledges that she has a daughter. She refers to the birth, instead, as an “exciting experience” and “beautiful moment.” Is this Kardashian’s idea to shield her daughter from the limelight? Or is it boyfriend Kanye West’s over-protectiveness coming out? Or, perhaps, this is simply to build up more anticipation for the big reveal?
Kardashian and West welcomed their daughter on June 15, nearly five weeks early. After a couple weeks of silence on Twitter and Instagram, the reality star broke her silence and has since been actively posting. None of her posts, however, give any information about her new life as a mom or her daughter.
