Kim Kardashian Flour-Bomber Identified As PETA Activist Christina Cho
March 27, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Following the thickening plot of the flour-bomber going unidentified so long, the woman’s identity has finally been revealed as PETA activist Christina Cho.
Late last week, a pretty-obviously contrived stunt took place while Kim Kardashian and her mother shilled perfume in front of press and asleep-at-the-wheel security who stood idle as Cho approached and poured a whole bag of flour over Kardashian’s head. It all felt staged, since the family’s reality show cameras are currently filming the opening of their new store in West Hollywood. So they have their own cameras around at all the times, and the attack will probably play for sympathy even if it wasn’t explicitly scripted for the show.
Moreover, although PETA initially denied involvement, Cho is reportedly a very active animal rights activist who’s staged many such stunts in PETA’s name. Cho won an award from PETA in 2010 and her younger sister is a senior Los Angeles-based PETA executive who appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians season three episode three I’d Rather Go Naked… Or Shopping (about 5 minutes in, the sister is introduced as “Michelle: PETA Manager”).
Kardashian, 31, has since decided to press charges. And Khloe Kardashian, 27, has since cut ties with PETA, for whom she posed without clothes in 2008, with a blog post that’s hilarious if either Cho or the security were in on the stunt: “Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me… We all need to practice what we preach. I will continue to not wear fur, but I no longer support PETA.”
