Life & Style: Kim Kardashian Will Be “Forced To Tell The Truth In Court”
March 8, 2012 by Hollywoodite
As it did the week Whitney Houston died, Life & Style made a month-old Kim Kardashian filler story its cover this week.
Offering little insight into facts aptly covered by TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com back in February, the cover reads: “Face-to-face In Court: For the first time in four months, the exes are finally brought together to testify under oath about their marriage. Kris wants to walk away with millions.”
Leading with the premise that greed is not a motivator, as Kris Humphries would reportedly donate any compensation to charity, L&S claims Humphries wants the money for his reputation being ruined on Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
It’s supposedly a scripted and staged show, on which he was cajoled into appearing, for which he was provoked to get better footage and then smeared in a cheating scandal, all while under a confidentiality-agreement forming part of the prenup so he could not offer details about his side of the story beyond the generalities in this interview from February.
“He’d donate the money to charity, but he wants to see Kim have to give away a few million,” a source tells the tabloid.
Reportedly, Kardashian just wants to throw money at the situation and be done; fearing that if this goes to court, and she’s compelled to stop lying, she’ll be humiliated: “Kim’s prepared for him to ask for $2 million. No one wants to give away that kind of money, but she wants to move on. This is torturing to her. Kim knows exactly what could happen if they go to court and she’s terrified… The longer this drags on, the more despondent she becomes. This is the worst time of her life.”
HollywoodLife.com contradicts some of the claims, saying Humphries doesn’t care about the money at all. His real issue: being framed and smeared as the bad guy in a show that’s faked, produced, and edited. It’s also executive produced by Kris Jenner, with Kardashian exercising creative control. It’s a completely false production that the target audience thinks is real. That’s a problem; one that’s harmed Humphries’ life and reputation. Moreover, Humphries claims the notorious Dubai car scene is proof of the deception.
“Kris would like there to be an admission that there was fraud, that there was a malicious intention by the Kardashians to use Kris and to make money and benefit themselves from him ,” says a source. “He wants them to publicly admit that they never intended for it to be a real marriage.”
“He doesn’t like that people think he is a jerk and that they’re so surprised when they meet him, to see that he’s an OK guy,” says the source. “Kris isn’t mean, he doesn’t do things to others and it’s not about the money.” – via Hollywood Life.
