Kim Kardashian: Doesn’t Hate Indian People, Random Guy Makes Sex Tape Claims
On the Memorial Day episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian is asked by her eldest sister whether the 31-year-old is fond of Indian food to which she replied no because it’s “so disgusting.” Cue people histrionically taking that as a slur and attacking her on Twitter….
* “I think it’s good Kim Kardashian doesn’t like Indian food, because that means she won’t ever visit India and that in itself is a blessing,” one user wrote.
* Said another, “Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner called Indian food ‘so disgusting.’ Seriously? You don’t have to like it, [but] don’t be rude.”
In response to these and other tweets, the star wrote a blog entitled Just Want to Clear Something Up: “In NO way was [my comment] intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste. There are a lot of foods I don’t like… I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine.”
In other news: Jonathan Lee Riches, a felon previously convicted of fraud, who holds the Guinness World Record for being the most litigious person in history filing more than 2,600 lawsuits since 2006 against people including Britney Spears and Martha Stewart, formerly asked to be named as a plaintiff in Kardashian’s suit against Old navy (owned by the same company as The Gap) because he purportedly made sex tapes with her while wearing Gap clothing. Although his motion was denied due to lack of evidence, it said, in part…
