Kim Kardashian On K&KTM: I Have Cried For Months And Months About The Divorce
At the close of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, the family were caught by paparazzi staging scenes intended to smear Kris Humphries as the bad guy in the divorce. They were caught weeks after key scenes were supposed to have taken place, at a sound stage instead of the locale of Dubai, holding their own wardrobe. And yet they still denied telling lies on the show and defaming Humphries.
The season premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami is still talking about Kim Kardashian’s second divorce because it’s taking so long and milking it, like Humphries is milking it, will make them more money. Ostensibly no longer interested in chewing over the details of a divorce that’s already taken more than a year, after being filed in October 2011, the family is still staging scenes where they’re sitting around and talking about it and mocking Humphries.
Khloe Kardashian, who never liked her estranged brother-in-law anyway, asks: “If you wanted to marry someone that was just for press, wouldn’t you have picked someone who was actually popular?” Fair point.
Kim Kardashian explains during the premiere: “It’s something that should be over and done with. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. The judge said we will be divorced in 2013… I have cried about this for months and months, and at some point I have to let it go. I have no choice or I’m going to be a miserable, negative person.” After which they stage a scene breaking dishes because getting fake married for money is stressful work. Khloe suggests Kim smash dishes on the floor to relieve the stress.
In other Kardashian news, Khloe is featured in Glamour who recycle photos of her from the January 2012 issue. Here’s Khloe’s interview.
Khloe on how her personal style differs from her sisters: “I’m a little more silly than they are. I like to do designs on the side of my face, or cut out foil stickers from the crafts store and put them on my forehead. I had always been a nude-lipstick girl, but Kourtney does a pop of color on her lips. I tried it and loved it. You can wear less on your eyes and still look put together.”
On their cosmetics line: “There are always five glosses, lipsticks, and liners rolling around in my purse. So I said, ‘God, can we do something to condense it all?’ And I don’t wear false lashes, so I’m a stickler for mascara. We have four different mascaras coming out as part of the line.”
On Lamar Odom’s style: “I love his New York vibe. Kim doesn’t like the jeans-and-T-shirts look. Who cares? He’s a guy! But he’s religious about his grooming. I was surprised.”
On making her marriage work: “I’ll be so busy, but I’ll make his favorite meal. Those little things, he appreciates them so much.”
On her weight: “A few years ago I lost 30 pounds, and people still wanted to criticize. And honestly, I’m happy with myself if I’m a little heavier. I realized: Why am I trying to conform to someone else’s idea of beauty? I think I’m beautiful either way.” – via Glamour Magazine.
