Kim Kardashian & Kanye West: Publicity Stunt After Years Of Hooking Up?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still feigning the relationship that’s going to be great for iTunes sales of the song in which West declares his “love” for his “girlfriend.” It’ll be better still for ratings of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which is currently filming and will be back on air in May. And it’s reportedly a slap in the face for estranged husband Kris Humphries, dissed in the same song and to whom Kardashian is still legally-married.
There have been a few details about this relationship over Easter weekend that can be summed up as follows: After years of sleeping together, while in relationships with/ married to other people, Kardashian and West started dating. This relationship behooved Kardashian more than reconciling with Reggie Bush, because West has an album to promote. He could shill his songs and she the reality shows (Oh, GOD, can you imagine the wedding/ babies/ portmanteaus “Kimye”/eponymous k-based spin-offs???).
The whole thing is probably pimp momager-approved, since the relationship went full fame-whore within hours of The Hunger Games date. They were all over the place; Kardashian had a hickey, and did a walk of shame, and even TMZ Live noted the “couple” is picking pap-heavy restaurants to eat because they’re desperate to be seen together. Emphasis on “desperate.”
Kardashian appeared on The Today Show Friday, where she pretended to be above the rumour-mongering she started.
The same day, Page Six pointed out that there’s probably some informal business agreement at play, a “publicity campaign,” to “help push [his] record sales and repair her reputation.”
And now RadarOnline.com reiterates that Kardashian and West have probably been sleeping together for years, and remained in contact through her second marriage, as suggested in sister tabloid Star.
“Kris knows for a fact that this dalliance between Kim and Kanye has been going on for at least the last two years. Kim kept in touch with Kanye after she married Kris and promised him that she would cut off communication with him, but she never did. Kris is suspicious of the timing of Kim deciding to go public with the relationship because the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is premiering in May, and Kanye has released a new album,” an insider tells us.
“Kris knows that Kanye nver would have recorded those lyrics about Kim without her permission, period. Kris wonders if Kanye is going to drink the ‘Kardashian Kool Aid’ as he calls it, because if you aren’t a family member and don’t fall in line with what Kris Jenner dictates, you are persona non grata.
“When Kris found out about Kim going public with Kanye, he told his friends he wanted to tell West, ‘good luck dude, you are going to need it.’ Kris knows that while he was with Kim, he was completely faithful, and he has serious doubts that she could say the same,” the insider adds. – via RadarOnline.
