Kim Kardashian will feature heavily in L’uomo Vogue July/ August 2012.
The 31-year-old shared a preview on Instagram with the caption: “Amazing shoot today for Vogue Italia! Thank you @Rushka_Bergman & @akafrancesco for your creative genius!!!” Although Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani clarified the shoot was really for L’uomo Vogue, the Italian men’s edition, “@KimKardashian will be the star of photo shoot in the July/August number of L’#UomoVogue.”
The photo shoot takes place following claims the reality star has been banned from American Vogue, and the MET Costume Gala, by Anna Wintour. A few days after that report, E! defended its star and said Kardashian shot for a “European fashion magazine” in Los Angeles the day of the New York City gala so she couldn’t have attended “if she wanted to.” Which mostly held up, surprisingly, although E!’s dates were off. The gala was last week. But Kardashian appears to have started shooting in California yesterday afternoon.
