Kim Kardashian Denies Getting Married For Money: “It’s Not Like We Needed The Ratings”

Kim Kardashian is still denying that she got married for money and then got divorced when she lost the financial incentive.

She already denied the rumours on Oprah’s Next Chapter, saying she really was in love with Kris Humphries and it just didn’t work out but she’s happily (immediately) moved on to Kanye West. Who’s richer and with whom she was rumoured to have slept through her relationship with Reggie Bush and her marriage to Humphries.

In short, Kardashian is full of it. Of course she only got married because she was being sponsored. Her family, especially her morally-bankrupt mother, value fame, money and sex above all else. Co-signed by people who helped raise the girls and saw them grow up. They’re vapid, easy, social climbers who’d sell one another for a buck. And, yet, here’s Kardashian being glib in the new issue of Tatler Magazine, saying she’s not fake only because her show doesn’t need the ratings (as though one need not maintain ratings).

On her fake marriage: “I mean, that is just not the person I am. Who would honestly get married for ratings? It’s not like the ratings had dropped and we needed a boost.”

On her turn-offs: “Anything to do with bad hygiene, like teeth or nails or big ears. I’m really weird about stuff like that.”

On her love for Kanye West: “It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through. Being with someone I’ve known for so many years is comforting. He’s been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely. It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me too, because he understands the business… I can’t even think about being with anyone else than the man I’m with.”

On her simplistic, Disney view of relationships as an adult: “When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous boyfriends] saying, ‘We’re talking about marriage, etc.’ It’s embarrassing. And I really believed it at the time! I’m such a hopeless romantic that I’ll always believe the next one is the one.”

On the plans for her third wedding: “It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and when people said that I’d made it over the top for the show, that was just me: I am over the top. But the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that’s it.” – via Tatler Magazine.
