Kim Kardashian Covers Us Weekly: “My First Days Home With Baby”

It’s honestly surprising that Kim Kardashian covers any of the tabloids this week, because the family is generally considered low-hanging fruit or filler about whom boilerplate stories can be recycled on a slow news day, when there’s actual current news about Paula Deen and the passing of James Gandolfini etc. Gandolfini is inset on the covers of ITW and PEOPLE. And Deen takes the cover of PEOPLE and, oddly, is largely overlooked inside and out of the rest of the tabloids.
Although the birth and naming of baby North West has largely been overshadowed the past week, Us Weekly relies on the Kardashians for rolling lifestyle exclusives so it has a fiduciary interest in covering stories this asinine.
The cover says “Sharing a house with Kanye AND her mom, jitters over that name, obsessed with breastfeeding, inside her new life. My first days home with baby.”
While the cover line is slightly misleading — Kim was not interviewed for this story — the mag did talk to one of her BFFs, Robin Antin, founder of the Pussycat Dolls, who has visited Kim and baby North — whom they call Nori.
Robin says she walked in and saw Kim holding the baby and said, “Oh my God. You’re a natural.” And Kim said “I know — it’s so weird!” Kanye loves holding Nori and doesn’t leave her for more than an hour — although an “insider” says “he’s not changing diapers.” But he and Kim are staying at Kris Jenner’s six-bedroom mansion — as are a 24-hour nurse, Bruce Jenner, Kanye’s father Ray, Kanye’s Aunt Shirlie, as well as Kendall and Kylie.
A source says Kim and Kanye will get married and “the wedding will be very small when it happens.” – via Jezebel.
