Kim Kardashian “Couldn’t Care Less” About Paris Hilton’s Butthurt

In a previous post, it was addressed that Paris Hilton was sore about her waning fame and Kim Kardashian’s success achieved using the same shtick (whore shtick). Hilton’s tape leaked ahead of the pilot for The Simple Life, ensuring she’d get more attention than co-star Nicole Richie and ensuring that people would be watching at all. Kardashian released a tape too, ahead of her family’s pilot, ensuring the same. And now the former sidekick has far, far eclipsed any level of fame achieved by Hilton. And sources are spilling about how desperate Hilton is to catch up.
A source tells RadarOnline.com that, in addition to The World According to Paris not being renewed for a second season, Hilton’s tepid musical career is yet another sore spot. That is, Hilton is literally desperate for her forthcoming album to succeed: “Paris knows she has a lot riding on this project because her last reality show was canceled, and she needs to do something to re-invent herself. Paris is hoping to appeal to a broader fan base and would love to use the album as a platform for a possible project with MTV. Yes, Paris is a very successful businesswoman, and she is about to release her fifteenth fragrance, but that isn’t enough for her. Paris craves the attention from the media and her fans, and she is truly feeling the pressure to deliver on this, because she doesn’t have any other television or movie projects lined up.”
The source continues: ”Paris is having a hard time adjusting to the fact that she just doesn’t have the popularity or cache that she did five years ago. Paris has tons of money, but that isn’t enough for her. Look, she is still going to clubs on a very frequent basis, and she is 31 years old. You don’t see a lot of people over 30 going to clubs, it’s almost sad to see. Paris would love to be married with kids, it’s all she ever talks about, but she hasn’t found her Prince Charming yet, and she isn’t getting any younger.”
It’s all about competing with Kardashian, but Kardashian doesn’t care anymore: “Kim couldn’t care less about Paris, or what she thinks about her.” The (biased-sounding) Hilton source says Kardashian discarded her former friend: “Bottom line, Kim used her friendship with Paris, straight up. She knows what she did and doesn’t care. It’s just like she’s now using Kanye West to advance her agenda. The Kardashians used the Hiltons all the way to the bank.”
