Why Kim Kardashian Missed The PCAs: “She Didn’t Feel Good About Herself”
January 13, 2012 by Hollywoodite
The People’s Choice Awards were somewhat ill-attended this year, since everyone had something better to do.
A bunch of the night’s big winners didn’t bother turning up including: Katy Perry, who pulled out because of her divorce drama, Rihanna, who went to the Staples Center across the street to watch a basketball game at the same time, and Kim Kardashian, who had no reason but tweeted to thank fans in lieu of attending herself. She and her sisters attended last year’s awards, remember Khloe Kardashian’s temporary red hair (which she was contractually-obliged to dye brown again for KUWTK).
Well, this year, the whole family was above attending. So all her fans got was a tweet as a thank you for her Favourite TV Celebreality Star win: “Thank you to everyone who voted for me tonight for the People’s Choice Awards! It means the world to me! xoxo.”
It meant so much she didn’t bother to attend. What kind of sense does that make? So, the real reason for Kardashian’s absence… we don’t know, since the only explanation comes from a pro-Kardashian source who pretends the 31-year-old is capable of emoting through the botox.
“Kim didn’t want to go to the People’s Choice Awards yesterday because she didn’t feel good about herself,” an insider tells us exclusively. “She came to Shades [hair salon] wearing dark sunglasses and seemed very withdrawn.”
Despite getting a trim and blow out by co-owner Philip Wolf, which she says is “therapeutic,” our source says Kim still seemed “stressed out” and “preoccupied” when she left the high end salon. – via HollywoodLife.
