Aside from stories from inside Amanda Bynes’ drug den, Kardashian is the tabloid’s filler on a slow news day and a visual cue that nothing more pertinent happened that week. And here she is again, bastion of non-news with another non-headline. This time, instead of opining about her baby daddy’s sexuality this week In Touch is claiming that Kardashian is indulging in cosmetic procedures while she’s pregnant.

The cover says “Beauty over Baby. Plastic surgery while pregnant. Just weeks before her delivery, vain Kim takes drastic measures to protect the one thing that’s most important to her: her looks. The crazy procedure that could put her baby at risk.” Incidentally, there’s no proof she had any work done. Just conjecture based on third-parties looking at file photos of her during pregnancy. Moreover, they’re speculating on random procedures for the sake of raising the blood pressure of the readership.

Kim’s obsession with beauty hasn’t only driven her to get chemicals injected into her face — she’s also been having gel manicures and spray tans, all procedures that could have consequences for her unborn baby with boyfriend Kanye West. “She’s so worried about what she looks like — that’s why she’s still getting Botox,” says a family insider. “She’ll go to any lengths to protect the one thing that’s most precious to her: her beauty.”
