Kim Kardashian: “I Couldn’t Sacrifice My Heart For A Publicity Stunt”

For the concluding part of Oprah’s Next Chapter, Kim Kardashian is asked about faking relationships for ratings.
The 31-year-old previously told Oprah ”We don’t do anything for ratings” despite innumerable publicity stunts, staged scenes, re-shoots, and contrived moments like the “romantic” proposal Kardashian planned with the help of producers. And now she’s lying to the host about her marriage to Kris Humphries and relationship with Kanye West. ”It’s your heart you’re playing with,” said Kardashian. “I couldn’t sacrifice my heart for a publicity stunt.
Failing to elaborate that she cheated on her estranged husband with her current boyfriend, Kardashian says: “[Kanye and I] met almost a decade ago, we’ve known each other for a very long time, we’ve been friends for six or seven years, I don’t know why it took us so long to get together. I think we’ve always had an attraction to each other, but we’ve always been in other relationships or it wasn’t the right timing. One day it just happened. It took me by surprise.”
Amber Rose says Kardashian and West have been sleeping together since at least 2010. And Humphries suspected Kardashian cheated on him with West. Clearly, the prior relationships were not prohibitive of Kardashian and West sleeping together. And, no, it didn’t just happen per chance nor was it a “surprise.”
Asked whether she’ll marry West too, she said: “I’m not thinking about marriage right now. To have [Kanye] in my life this way, says a lot about us.” However, she told Cosmo UK May 2012 she would never again film a relationship for Keeping Up With The Kardashians only to reveal weeks later West would appear in cameo (with a possible spin-off in the works). Since she lies so often, sure, let’s assume she’ll marry again soon.
Kardashian also said she “hardly” drinks, goes to Church ever Sunday, and admits shilling on Twitter: ”Like you do a certain amount of appearances, there has to be a certain amount of tweets.”
