Kim Kardashian Reacts Angrily To Katie Couric’s Criticism, Katie Apologises
If you’re resorting to a social media outlet like Instagram to handle beef and you’re not a 13-year-old girl, there may be a problem.
Kim Kardashian was anything but happy after hearing a “slanderous” comment that Katie Couric recently made about her. In an interview with In Touch, Couric, 56, said, “I don’t understand – why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested,” referring to the Kardashian dynasty. Of course, the 32-year-old television personality and new mother did not take the statement too kindly and sought to make a public response via Instagram. Kardashian uploaded a picture on her profile, apparently of the baby gift and a note that the journalist sent her, masked with the caption “#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t.” Can anyone say hashtag? But seriously, who does Couric think she is? Does she not know that Kardashian radiates glorious imperfection?
Couric must have gotten word of Kardashian’s online temper tantrum immediately, as E! Online reported earlier tonight that she is genuinely sorry for any harsh feelings.
“I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family. I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings,” Couric said. She also assured that her gift and wishes to Kardashian were sincere and claimed she is happy for her and her baby daddy Kanye West. She even called her a “really sweet person.”
Wow, Kimmy. It looks like you’re the villain after all.
