Kim Kardashian Refuses Cameras at Divorce Proceedings

Reality television star Kim Kardashian’s life has been an open book for almost a decade. Cameras and crowds alike have followed her through many of her personal triumphs and tribulations. But today, the mom-to-be proved that certain chapters are off limits.

According to RadarOnline, Kardashian doesn’t want any cameras inside the courtroom during her divorce trial with estranged husband Kris Humphries. Despite offers from various media, Kardashian prefers to retain her privacy throughout the proceedings. Humphries on the other hand welcomes the cameras with open arms. A source reportedly told RadarOnline, “Kris doesn’t understand why Kim wouldn’t want cameras in the courtroom. This is someone that has every move of her daily life documented for reality television, what is the big deal with having it televised?”

The big deal may be the fact that reality television could play an integral part in the case. Last week, rumors surfaced that Humphries’ lawyers plan to question Kardashian under oath about certain scripted scenes in Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Apparently, television producer Jay Russell has already testified that two scenes were scripted and filmed after the divorce was initially filed. If this is true, it could support the NBA baller’s effort to have the marriage annulled. Humphries claims that Kardashian defrauded him and actively conspired to make him seem like the bad guy on her show.

Does Kardashian have something to hide? Or is Humphries just bitter? The answer is sure to come after their courtroom drama plays out on May 6th.
