Kim Kardashian & Reggie Bush “Not Getting Too Close” In Public

There are some additional details about Sunday’s date between Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush; supposedly one of several meetings the past few weeks.
TMZ.com broke the story that Kardashian went from exposed boobs at the annual Clive Davis pre-Grammys party taking place at the hotel Whitney Houston died, with enough time for the 31-year-old to change into a more somber outfit, to a date with Bush the following morning.
Reportedly it was a two-hour early lunch, or a late brunch, whatever, during which eyewitnesses say the former-couple flirted and laughed.
According to HollywoodLife.com Kardashian and Bush sat outside on the patio area of the Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hills Hotel February 12, with friends from both camps: “Kim and Reggie had a late brunch. They sat in the outdoor patio area for almost two hours eating, laughing and definitely flirting. Kim had The McCarthy Salad and Reggie had Eggs Benedict. They split two appetizers including the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. They sat toward the back in the patio which is more intimate and private. Kim looked really pretty and was very friendly with everyone, and so was Reggie.”
Life & Style Magazine has similar details, although there’s spin about how Bush is supposedly helping Kardashian mend the broken heart caused by her fake marriage.
L&S says the couple had a “poolside lunch date on Sunday at the Cabana Club Café inside the Beverly Hills Hotel in [Los Angeles],” and were “cautious not to get too close in public.”
Adds a source: ”Kim was joined by a female friend and Reggie was with a friend too. She was wearing a minidress and platforms with full hair and makeup. Kim sat right next to Reggie and looked really comfortable. She and her girlfriend were laughing [with the guys]. It was obvious that they’d all planned to get together and didn’t just run into each other… [Kim and Reggie] were being careful, you could tell… Kim [and her friends left first and Kim] gave Reggie a kiss goodbye on the cheek.”
Adds an insider: “[Reggie has] been supportive to her since the breakup of her marriage, and they wanted to go out for lunch. It wasn’t romantic. If Kim had any feelings that it was going to be romantic, she wouldn’t have gone somewhere so public.”
