Kim Kardashian: Chose Reggie Bush First, Kanye West Could Hurt Divorce

Kim Kardashian’s incorrigible bedhopping may harm her divorce, if tabloid speculation is to be believed.

It’s reported that Kardashian originally eyed a reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush, while the two spent time in Miami, after which they both decided they were “no longer compatible.”

A source says of the former-couple: “Kim spent a lot of time with Reggie at his house, and the two had very long and thoughtful conversations about what their future could look like together. Kim absolutely wanted to get back together with him, but Reggie pointed out that they both want very different things out of life. Reggie is much more low-key than Kim and does not want to live his life in the public eye the way she has chosen to. Remember, when Reggie and Kim first started dating, she didn’t have a reality show; that came about a year into the relationship. There will always be a lot of love between Kim and Reggie, but he just doesn’t see a future with her… Yes, Kim is no longer is with Kris [Humphries], and the divorce will become final soon, but it hasn’t even been a year since the wedding. Reggie felt that getting back together with her would be a step backwards for him and he moved on a very long time ago. Reggie doesn’t have any bad feelings towards Kim and he only wants the best for her but he told her she should spend some time on her own for a while. Several weeks after he had that conversation with her she went public with Kanye, affirming that he made the right decision.”

How telling, Kardashian had a back-up “boyfriend” while flirting with Bush.

With no one to enable her, and no one to coddle her, no one to feed off of, Kardashian jumped to Kanye West. Although West’s admission in Theraflu that he “fell in love with” Kardashian while she was married could help Kris Humphries’ assertions that his estranged wife cheated through the entire relationship.

RadarOnline.com reports that Khloe Kardashian is worried the showmance/ fauxmance will hand Humphries the infidelity case that won’t help a Californian divorce: “Khloe just wishes that Kim wouldn’t get involved with anyone for at least a year. Kim isn’t even divorced yet and Khloe is extremely worried that Kris is going to try and attempt to use her new relationship as ammunition to score a bigger settlement. Khloe doesn’t want her sister to get hurt again and she is extremely concerned about cheating allegations that have been made against Kanye in the past. Kim is extremely vulnerable, and the last thing she needs is to have her heart broken.”

Similarly, Humphries wants to know whether his marital earnings were spent courting West: “Kris absolutely wants to know if Kim spent money on Kanye while he was married to her. If Kim took Kanye out to dinner, bought him any gifts, etc., Kris wants to know how much she spent, if anything at all. Under the law in California, Kris is legally entitled to that money and he deserves it, if it can be proven.”
