Kim Kardashian Wedding – How Much Did The Wedding Cost, How Much Did She Earn?

Kim Kardashian’s over-long barter/ shill/ commercial for wedding products took place Saturday afternoon and so it’s time to start throwing around random numbers about what exactly Kardashian was paid to marry the second random who proposed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the wedding cost $500,000. According to others, The Daily Mail in particular, the wedding cost $10 million. And she earned an estimated $19.5 million from it. There are a bunch of itemised listicles floating around, so let’s examine.
1. People Magazine paid $2.5 million for exclusive wedding shots.
2. E! paid $12-$15 million for a 2-part series called Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which will air in October.
3. Vera Wang gave Kim THREE $20,000 wedding gowns to wear for the ceremony and reception.
4. Guests sipped on $400,000 worth of Perrier Jouet Champagne. Not to mention the $15,000 wedding cake from Hansen’s Bakery.
5. Wedding invites by Lehr & Black were worth $10,000.
6. $2 million was given to the couple for the African roses, tents, decor, lighting and party favors.
7. Tao Las Vegas paid for Kim’s $50,000 Bachelorette party.
8. The either partially comped or discounted engagement ring.
9. $10,000: Estimated cost of crystal-embellished, black-and-white invitations, which were reportedly given to Kim at no cost in exchange for publicity. – via Socialite Life.

$6,000: Cost of Kim’s wedding cake (again, reportedly donated by the baker.)
$20,000: Price tag on Kim’s custom Vera Wang dress.
$50,000: What Tao Las Vegas paid Kim to host her bachelorette party at the club.
$300,000: Amount People spent on Kim and Kris’ engagement announcement story.
$100,000: What Britain’s OK magazine reportedly paid for exclusive bridal shower coverage.
$100,000: Estimated cost of an ad during her E! special (airing in October.)
$1.5 million: The amount People magazine spent on exclusive rights to photos of the wedding, according to The Hollywood Reporter. – via X17 Online.
THR estimated $100,000 for the bridal shower paid by British OK! $300,000 for the engagement announcement and $1.5 million for the wedding photos paid by People. But there are a few other pay days that could take Kardashian over the $19.5 million range in earnings; she was paid to attend her multiple pre-wedding parties. She was paid for every announcement and photo etc.. It’s probable that some outlets are only including tabloid shills. Others are being far more inclusive of every barter, the payment for the wedding special, the estimated ad revenue from the special, and other shrapnel. She probably did make around $19.5 million for the wedding that probably did cost $10 million if you take into account the things she got free/ paid to do.
