Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Special Will Be FOUR HOURS, Split Over TWO DAYS

Kim Kardashian’s wedding special will take place over four hours. The two two-hour specials on E! have an air date and the specials have a name, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. That’s really what they’re calling it and, unlike the Kardashian-Odom wedding, the groom’s name and presence is nowhere to be found (in the Kardashian-Odom wedding they made up for that by pushing Lamar Odom out of his own wedding cover on OK! and by lazily Photoshopping him into another year’s Kardashian Christmas card).

E! has produced a little Save The Date thing in which they announce the times for Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event as Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. The wedding’s actually taking place August 20, which means that before we’re bored to death with a FOUR hour special, split over two days, we’re going to have a seven week tabloid war over every fart that happened at that wedding. It’s a long-winded, considered, planned complete market saturation and deliberate over-exposure. In part, because of the number of things being shilled for free on the show. The dress, pimped by its formerly-classy designer, will be Vera Wang whose store’s mentioned on the show. Kardashian is even pimping a limited edition wedding fragrance and pushing the bottles on her fans at $100 each.
