Did Kordell Stewart File For Divorce From Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Stewart?

According to local reports out of Atlanta, reality television has claimed another marriage. Kordell Stewart has reportedly filed for divorce from Real Housewife Porsha Stewart (née Williams).
According to AccessAtlanta.com, the former NFL player filed a petition for divorce March 22 in Fulton County Court.
From the filing: ”Petitioner, after marrying respondent, a cast member on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, on May 21, 2011, is seeking divorce as the marriage is irretrievably broken.”
And according to RealityTea.com, “controlling” Kordell wanted Porsha to quit the show “since it was [ruining] his reputation and opening up scrutiny about their marriage… but Porsha wants a career and didn’t want to leave RHOA.”
In January, it was revealed on RHOA the couple has NO prenup. Porsha explained in a Bravo blog: “In my opinion a marriage is a sacred union between two people coming together as one with love being that foundation… being one in mind, body, and spirit. This means I want to agree with my husband and have like minds, I want to bond with him in the flesh (meaning anything that has to do with the natural things, whether it’s a sexual, monetary, or family issue etc.). I also want to become one spiritually with my husband so that we are equally yoked. We have the same beliefs when it comes to God and how WE have our purpose shown to us by God. So through bonding with him in mind, body, and spirit there is no place for a piece of paper to stand between us. However I totally can see anyone else’s point of view and understand why she or anyone else would choose to have one. For me I see it as a ‘to each his own’ issue.”
Back in December, asked about her “video ho” past by the Breakfast Club 105.1 radio show, Porsha said “Coming on the show the other women (the ones that took to me) were like ‘Porsha you know all the stuff about you from the past is gonna come forward’ or whatever. For me, I had completely forgotten about it. When I did that I was young. I had a great time and in Atlanta that was a part of modeling. If you had a body that was what you did. You know you make choices when you’re younger that you wouldn’t make now.”
Asked during the same interview about rumours Kordell is gay, she said: “I don’t know any details of all of that. If anything is out there with any celebrity, there are lies and all kinds of things on the Internet about everybody. One thing I do know is my husband loves me and he puts it down and I will be with him forever. And you know what? He’s more man to me than I have ever met. So for me ‘gay’ is just out of the window. That’s not in our lives. That’s not who he is.”
UPDATE 3/26/13: TMZ.com confirms, “According to Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, the 40-year-old NFL alum filed for divorce on March 22… The issue of children came up often on the reality show. Porsha wanted to have kids AND a career in charity work, but Kordell told her she had to choose.”
