OK! Magazine, Life & Style: Kourtney Kardashian Pregnant & Betrayed

Well, this is embarrassing. Much like turning up on a red carpet wearing the same outfit, two of the major tabloids have used the exact same headline (barring exposition) on this week’s tabloid covers.
OK! Magazine and Life & Style Magazine both went with generic Kardashian covers which means, as established already, nothing else happened this week and the Kardashians are officially the fallback for everyone (including People Magazine).
It’s not an exclusive, it’s not actually something that happened this week; it’s two magazines running out of ideas, and going with filler that could have been published on any non-specific date and still sold issues. Generic cover images, generic headlines, fabricated stories. Check, check, check.
The OK! cover reads: “Kourtney Kardashian: Pregnant & Betrayed. Humiliated by Scott’s public flirting with Kim; He walks out after their nastiest fight ever; Kourtney’s shocking ultimatum.”
The Life & Style cover reads: “Moms In Crisis: Pregnant & Betrayed. REESE is humiliated as all her family secrets – cheating, assault, hoarding, and alcoholism – are revealed; A devestated KOURTNEY finds out about Scott’s sex tape with a stunning brunette and finally tells him, ‘Just Leave!’ HOW THEY’RE PROTECTING THEIR CHILDREN.”
There’s no more from either tabloid yet, although Life & Style’s website does have information about Kardashian’s second baby shower. It’s a random source report, but it’s more interesting than the cover stories. A source says the second baby shower took place May 12, with Kris Jenner hosting at her home in Hidden Hills, CA with help from party planner Sharon Sacks.
“Kourtney’s shower was so nice!” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “Her mom and sisters were there, of course. They talked, laughed, and played games. There was a bar and lots of different types of foods and desserts, including sushi and little sandwiches. She seemed happy and excited earlier in the day before the shower. Her son, Mason, was there, too.”
“Lehr & Black did Kourtney’s shower invitations,” a source tells Life & Style. “They were beautiful.”
Keeping with the girlie theme (Kourtney’s having a daughter this time), pinks were certainly the color of the occasion.
“Flowers were blush-pink peonies, pink Dutch hydrangeas and garden sweet peas in pink-and-fuchsia containers,” the eyewitness reveals to Life & Style. “The theme was all pink and whites. Petals LA did the floral arrangements.”
“There were about 90 people at 10 tables,” a second source tells Life & Style.
One person noticeably absent from the shower was Kourtney’s beau, Scott Disick, who Life & Style reported was present for his girlfriend’s first baby shower, thrown by his family at the Stonewalls Restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek in Riverhead, N.Y., on April 29. This time, Scott was in Atlantic City, N.J., where he had to host at The Pool at Harrah’s Resort later that evening.
The shower began a little after 11:30 a.m., with Kourtney making her grand entrance just short of noon, and her baby girl is certainly going to be spoiled. “Kourtney got lots of gifts from Bel Bambini,” the eyewitness tells Life & Style.
The brunette beauty registered with the store and asked for items, including a $349 video monitor set, car seat, embroidered bibs and teething toys.
“Multiple women arrived bearing numerous gifts for Kourtney’s new baby,” a second eyewitness says. “At one point, a Toyota van drove up to the property and numerous people rushed over to the car to help a blond female carry a huge gift, in black-and-white wrapping paper and a big red bow, into the house.”
But no one left empty-handed. “Kourtney and her family had gift bags for all the guests,” the first eyewitness says.
As Life & Style first reported, Kourtney and Scott, who already have a 2-year-old son, Mason, are expecting their first girl around July 1. – via Life & Style Magazine.
