In Touch Weekly Claims Kourtney Kardashian “Demands Prenup From Scott Disick”

In Touch Weekly Magazine has changed its story from a “Kourtney Kardashian single mother… Scott Disick absentee father” narrative to a “They’re being forced to marry for money on television by pimp Kris Jenner” narrative because the latter will sell more copies ahead of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami of which Disick has obviously been part.

Last week, the tabloids claimed that Kardashian and Disick acquiesced to Jenner coercing an engagement for the K&KTM season finale.

This week, ITW says Kardashian is suddenly in a panic about a prenup because she’s worth a lot more money than Disick.

But does any of this feel familiar? It should. On a previous season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, years ago, Disick “bought” a yellow diamond engagement ring and pretended to propose at the behest of producers. News of the “proposal” leaked ahead of time though, so they denied it on Twitter and, of the “yes” and “no” endings filmed, they ended up airing the one where she said “no.” This week’s ITW story is basically recycled from back then.

ITW’s cover says: “Proposal Gone Wrong. $20 Million Fight. A whirlwind trip to Paris ends in disaster as Scott explodes over Kourtney’s demand for a prenup to protect her fortune. Final showdown… and neither wants to give in.”

A teaser for the story says: Kourtney Kardashian has finally agreed to marry Scott Disick. But the mother of two is protecting herself and her kids. “If anyone screws up in this marriage, it will be Scott, not Kourtney,” says an insider. “She’s no dummy.  She’s protecting her and her children’s futures.”
