This Again: Star Magazine Says Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick Are “Engaged”

The tabloids started the year writing stories about the turmoil in the relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. When Kardashian gave birth to her second child, the “single mother” “absentee father” narrative (presumably) sold more issues so that was the story the tabloids were selling. And now that the sisters have reached the end of production for season one of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, it behooves the tabloids to conjecture about wedding plans since it’s rumoured Kris Jenner is pressuring the former to get married on television for money like she did with Kim Kardashian (the marriage that was loveless and lasted 72 days).
This week’s cover of Star Magazine is claiming the couple is engaged and they also claim to have an “exclusive interview” you can guarantee never happened (with them, personally… instead, it’s an interview with his aunt). Moreover, if or when the couple do become engaged, they’ll sell the story for more than Star can afford and every other outlet will jump on it. That’s not what’s happening here.
The cover says: “She Finally Said Yes In Paris. Scott & Kourtney: We’re Engaged. Exclusive interview with Star. Touching details of the magic moment; Scott vows ‘I’ll never hurt you again’; A $20 million TV wedding deal (Take that, Kim).”

After having two of his children, Scott Disick is finally going to make Kourtney Kardashian an honest woman!
The reality stars, who have been together for five years, got engaged in Paris last week, reports Star magazine.
“We’re all so thrilled they’ve finally decided to get engaged,” Scott’s aunt, Laurie Disick dished to Star. “We’re all so fond of Kourtney, and we wish them a long, happy marriage.”
Scott was shopping for engagement rings at Levinson Jewelers in Fort Lauderdale in late October. “Scott was most definitely shopping for engagement rings,” an onlooker exclusively told Radar, “and all of them were large!”
Scott was with Kourtney in Paris filming scenes for their reality show and thought that the romantic backdrop would be the perfect place to pop the question.
“Scott’s actually been planning to propose for a while,” an insider says, “but he just wasn’t sure when the moment would be right.” – via RadarOnline.
