Kris Humphries Wants Cameras In Court For Kim Kardashian Divorce
February 8, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Kris Humphries is belatedly on the defensive. Which is fitting, since everything in his life is on a delay.
Seriously, did you see dude on Good Morning America? He tries to deflect live questions using only the words “Basketball” and “Uhhhh.” He’s a mess during interviews and he’s nothing like as seasoned at lying on camera as is his estranged wife. So he always looks slow, lacking, and he gives a shallow and ill-considered interview.
This interview with Access Hollywood is no different. He almost starts well, by clarifying that any wedding shenanigans were the doing of Kim Kardashian (who later staged scenes on her reality show to make herself look better and joked about the wedding being a “bad business decision”).
“I mean, to me [the marriage] was real. You know, I would never go through something, do something, that wasn’t real or I didn’t believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that,” he said.
“I’m in a great place; above all, my faith in God, and just how close my family is, and then the fact that, you know, luckily we didn’t get locked out all season and we’re playing basketball.”
“You know, basketball is where you can go and not think about anything and just let loose. I always tell people basketball is like my therapy. Some people talk to psychologists, and I just go and play basketball… I’m not dating. My girlfriend is Spalding.” – via E! Online.
The morning before the interview was released, Humphries leaked a story to TMZ.com about the divorce/ annulment proceedings. Basically, the story on TMZ is a dry rehash of what’s already been in the tabloids but there are some issues.
The website notes that Humphries’ cries of fraud are moot because he proposed and the prenup ran years into the future. Which, honestly, proves nothing since Kardashian planned her own proposal with the help of E! and was just being comprehensive/ over-prepared with the prenup. TMZ also notes Humphries will expose the inner workings of reality television, something the tabloids spent the last three-months doing. And it’s something HE already leaked to the tabloids.
Also, Humphries reportedly wants cameras into the courtroom during to broadcast their divorce hearings.
