Kris Humphries On Good Morning America With Mother – Video

Kris Humphries and his mother, Debra Humphries, appeared on Good Morning America since, apparently, the 26-year-old needed his hand held through a GMA interview. Nah, kidding. The basketball player baked cookies with his mother and dodged divorce questions.

In the video you see interviewer Josh Elliot pushing, probably with a producer yelling in his earpiece to make the piece more scandalous, and asking increasingly-pertinent questions about Kim Kardashian and the divorce drama. Rather than bend to it, and since he’s still bound by the confidentiality agreement in his prenup, Humphries deflected every question back to basketball training and his charitable foundation.

He said: “I think that if people know me they know who I am and what I stand for. I’m a fun guy and I don’t play into the gossip. That’s life.”

Asked if a smaller wedding would have put less pressure on the marriage, he replied:  ”It’s the only time i’ve been married. But I’ve been in NBA since I’ve been 19, so it’s on a different level.” Moreover, he’s looking forward: “For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve gotta move forward. I’m really focused on basketball and other things will take care of themselves.”
