Report: Kris Humphries Asks Kim Kardashian To Disclose Marital Earnings

This divorce is getting more and more convoluted, and uglier and uglier. The last report about the divorce suggested that Kris Humphries was prepared to go on the offensive, tired of being bullied by Kim Kardashian and his in-laws.

That followed Humphries’ lawyer issuing a very similar statement to Life & Style last week, saying the Kardashians had been smearing his client and that needed to stop.

Today, there’s a report that Humphries is asking the court to compel Kardashian to disclose the joint marital earnings since one of her defenses to mouthpiece TMZ.com is that Humphries is being greedy and there’s no way they could have earned the reported-upon desired $7 million settlement in the 72 days of marriage.

Except, they reportedly earned nearly $20 million from the wedding alone, then there were post-wedding deals including photo shoots (the Hello/ People wedding cover, and the US Weekly exclusive honeymoon shoot for which the tabloid was invited to take staged photos). For all of which they would have earned money.

According to court documents filed by [Kris] Humphries: “A husband and wife are subject to the general rules governing fiduciary relationships which control the actions of persons occupying confidential relations to each other. This confidential relationship imposes a duty of the highest good faith and fair dealing on each spouse, and neither will take unfair advantage of each other.”

The documents accuse Kardashian of breaching the fiduciary duty, because, a source tells RadarOnline.com, “Kris feels that Kim hasn’t given an honest and accurate accounting of money they made while they were married. Kris has complied with turning over his bank records, credit card statements, but Kim hasn’t, and she has been stalling. Kris didn’t want to take her to court over this, but he isn’t playing Mr. Nice Guy anymore.” – via RadarOnline.
