Kris Humphries Will Be His Own Lawyer In Divorce Case

In what’s either a sign of stupidity, desperation, or the time-crunch, Kris Humphries has appointed himself as a second lawyer in his divorce case.

TMZ.com reports that Humphries’ actual lawyer out of Minnesota is also on the case but with the divorce-filing in California, the out-of-state attorney must have a local attorney by their side. Humphries had a California lawyer, who’s since withdrawn from the case; leaving Humphries’ business lawyer without a sponsor. So Humphries filed legal documents appointing himself… against celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser.

The last news of the divorce came from RadarOnline.com, who claimed that Humphries wanted cameras in court in what read as passive-aggressive payback so Kim Kardashian knew what it felt like to be subject to third-party cameras without the ability to add voice-overs or manipulative edits to make herself look better. RadarOnline also reported that Kardashian wanted the cameras kept out of court. Although her mother, Kris Jenner, dismisses the whole thing saying she’s never heard of cameras in a divorce hearing.

And the tabloids are having a field day, claiming Humphries effectively wants damages for his reputation being ruined.
