Kris Jenner Good Morning America Interview – Video

Kris Jenner was on Good Morning America this morning to shill her book, the tour for which coincides with her daughter’s conveniently-timed divorce. Also coinciding with the divorce: the just-cancelled Australian shill tour, the release of a second Kourtney & Kim Take New York trailer, and the exact date Kim Kardashian met Kris Humphries last year.

Jenner was on Good Morning America back in July, to brag about her family. Asked WTH her daughters did that made them so tabloid-worthy, Jenner opined they’re basically famous because they’re famous. She claimed they’re known for their television shows and her daughters’ work ethics allowed her to monetize their familial vapidity.

What did Jenner have to say for herself this time?

Jenner was on GMA this morning, talking about her book. The Hollywood Reporter claimed the pimp momager told Kardashian to file on Monday (the last day of tabloid deadlines… and to ensure the story wasn’t buried over the weekend) to ensure maximum exposure. And so, of course, Jenner seemed a little too pleased to be talking about the marital split.

“WHEE, FREE PUBLICITY!”

Kardashian wouldn’t admit that she didn’t try to save her marriage. Being that it’s her second divorce, it’s not like she took the commitment seriously. But at least she gets to keep the gifts, and the profit they lied about.

Says Jenner of the ring she mocked yesterday: “It’s a gift, so keep your gift.” TMZ.com and etiquette given the length of the marriage and conditions of the split concur, incidentally. Adds Jenner, “Kim hasn’t been the Kim I know in a little bit. I saw here changing a little bit and it concerned me. I want Kim back; I want her to be happy. She seemed worried, not her happy self.”
