Kris Jenner Wants Kanye West To STOP Talking About Kim Kardashian’s Sex Tape

September 11, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Kris Jenner previously admitted in The Hollywood Reporter that Kim Kardashian was only famous for a sex tape but the family hustled the only way they knew how when they “made lemonade out of lemons.” And Kardashian told Oprah’s Next Chapter she’s best known for being in porn.

They’ve been sporadically open about how the extended family is only famous for sex, reality, and social climbing. But they’re mostly dishonest about why they’re famous. Like during the Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People interview where the sisters claimed having a personality was a talent. And Kardashian told the UK’s The Guardian newspaper she’s famous for getting people to like her.

Jenner is reportedly so precious about her family’s portrayal on E! in particular, that The Soup’s Joel McHale is banned from mocking the family or the tape on his show.

So it’s not surprising that Jenner isn’t thrilled about Kanye West rapping about the tape, moreover, bragging about playing the tape while having sex with other women. Only reminding people and cementing the idea that Kardashian’s fame is about porn (the tape and Playboy) not about anything else that happened since.

A source explains: “Kris had stern words with Kanye when she saw that he said he would put Kim’s sex tape on while romping with other women. She thinks it’s a disrespectful claim and told Kanye to stop talking about it at every given opportunity. As far as Kris is concerned, the video with Ray J is history and since then Kim has become a reality TV star, a fashion designer, even a philanthropist – so she’s moved on. By bringing up the past, Kanye is making it worse for Kim, but he doesn’t see it as that much of a big deal. Kim is, however, caught in the middle. She wants her mom and Kanye to get along because she wants Kris to approve their marriage. She won’t if Kanye keeps doing things like this.”
