Kris Jenner’s Affair Gave Kourtney Kardashian Commitment Issues

Kourtney Kardashian explains during Oprah’s Next Chapter that her mother’s extramarital affairs (Khloe has childhood memories of Todd Waterman so older Kourtney probably remembers him too) gave the 33-year-old issues for which she’s still seeking therapy.
Remember, around the time of Khloe’s wedding, their mother refused to comprehend the reticence the cheating had caused. Soon after, viewers saw Kourtney in therapy admitting that her mother was to blame for the commitment issues between herself and boyfriend Scott Disick, 27.
“I try to put myself in her shoes, and I would never do that to my family. I’m kind of scared of marriage because of that,” she told Oprah (Kourtney pretty much said this verbatim on an old episode of KUWTK, possibly during Khloe’s wedding special, if memory serves). She continued: “I’d like to someday [marry] for my children, but I know that I’m just as committed as if I was married or not married.”
And she told Jimmy Kimmel Live similar weeks ago: “I have realized that I have major commitment problems during this pregnancy. Because I’m really claustrophobic, and all my issues… I have a lot of them … they all stem from this thing.”
