Kris Jenner Stopped Bruce Jenner Spending Time With His Kids From A Previous Marriage?

In a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians that was, no doubt, affected for the camera, Brody Jenner explained in more detail how Kris Jenner sometimes got in the way of Bruce Jenner spending time with his kids from a previous marriage.

Previously, Brody and Bruce went off-script on live television and said the reason Brody returned this season was because it’s the only way for father and son to spend time together as adults and repair their broken relationship. Brody elucidates, Bruce was not a good guy and certainly not a good father and basically abandoned his kids from a previous marriage when he married his second wife and had kids with her too. Bruce wasn’t thrilled at the reveal but basically agreed he’d been an absentee father.

Kris Jenner denies any of this was her fault, though, saying “I’m not the evil stepmonster you think I am. I just want a little bit of credit [for reaching out to Brody].” And Brody eventually conceded on camera Kris helped father and son(s) reconnect; there’s clearly still some tension there, though, and unresolved issues.

“Brody has had a lifetime of this and he holds Kris responsible for Bruce not being a bigger part of his life when he was a child,” says a source. “Kris wouldn’t let Bruce spend time with Brody and Brandon when they were young because it would be time kept away from her… and when Kris became pregnant with Kendall and Kylie, the boys hardly ever saw their father. Kris is very persistent and used to getting what she wants, and Brody and Brandon suffered because of it.”
