Kris Jenner talks about Kim Kardashian’s recent Instagram selfie
Kim Kardashian recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, during which she said her recent bathing suit selfie was a “middle finger” to the people who called her fat while pregnant. In the same interview, on prime time television, she claimed to have become more “private” as a person. And she defended the photo as being self-affirming rather than attention-seeking.
It’s over a week later and now her mother is being asked about the same photo. “I thought that was a beautiful shot and I think that what she’s saying is she got so much flack for gaining weight while she was pregnant—when I was pregnant I gained a lot of weight—and it hurts when somebody says something ugly to you when you’re carrying a baby and that’s just how your body does it,” Kris recently told E! News.
“So for her to have done that and lost all that weight, she looks like my baby. She lost a lot of weight and she’s looking good so I’m proud of her,” Kris added.
E! also asked the matriarch about Kanye West’s surprise proposal. ”A lot of that is really, so private because I wanna keep our conversations between him and I. He’s kind of a magical guy and he loved doing that for her, so yeah I was thrilled,” said Kris.
“Oh my goodness, yes. You know me, I boo-hoo at everything and it was really…I will never forget that moment,” she added. “One of the best days ever.”
